I have had the great fortune to spend time with Mark for several years. We originally met doing a Clinic together at Sankaty, at which time I was most impressed with his knowledge of the game and ability to communicate so clearly to the audience.

Now that he is at The Ridge Club, I have enjoyed the opportunity to spend countless hours with him discussing the game and the finest golf swings, and of course sharing stories. He has been immensely helpful to me as I was struggling with the basic fundamentals of my own swing, I am grateful for his guidance as I am once again striking the ball well and have gained distance.

Mark has done a fantastic job of bridging old school thinking and state of the art technology.

Most importantly, he is a pleasure to work with and makes the learning process fun.

I have been working with Mark for around 2 and a half years. In that time I have gone from a golfer who can hit the ball to a high-level short gamer and great putter who can score. I’ve learned so many shots from Mark and because of my strong putting mechanics, my game has improved a lot. I made a 5ft putt on the final hole to clinch the Massachusetts State High School Championship. I’ve gone through the yips and everything you can imagine but I am now a strong putter. Mark’s goals for me have always been to have no 3 putts during a round and to pull off the easiest shot possible when chipping. Mark is so good at teaching players how to score and working on the most important part of your game, which is putting and chipping!

I had the good fortune to meet Mark in the Spring of 2021 at a Team Titleist event at the Ridge Club. I had just moved to Cape Cod and was in search of a golf coach that was both knowledgeable and engaged. At the time, my handicap was 14 and I was struggling with a slice off the tee; I knew I needed professional instruction to elevate my game. Through his coaching, my handicap has dropped to a 4.5 (and shrinking), I have been able to eliminate my slice and I also have learned innovative yet practical drills that I still use every day on the range.  

Mark has also provided me guidance on a professional level. When I expressed interest in working in the golf industry, he was very encouraging and gave me the confidence to pursue my passion. I am so thankful to Mark for his mentoring both on and off the course and I can now proudly say that I am a PGA Assistant Golf Professional.
